in High Protein Weight Loss diet

A high protein weight loss diet can be one of the best diets for not feeling hungry all of the time. High protein diet will also help by not storing fat as a high carbohydrate diet would.

Some studies are starting to suggest that the body does not process protein calories and carbohydrate calories in the same way. Carbohydrates seem to be stored more readily as fat when not used up for energy.
High protein weight loss will not work if you eat too many calories. You have to still take in less calories than you burn for any given day in order to loose any weight.

The best thing about eating protein is it helps keep you from feeling hungry longer that carbohydrates do. We are talking about good carbohydrates too. Not the sugar laden, white flower baked foods that will blow you up in hardly any time at all.

As always before starting any different diet or even any exercise program, you will want to get it OKed by your own doctor. High protein weight loss diets are only ok if your kidneys are in good shape.

Here are some protein sources with the amounts of calories per ounces:

Pork roast 46 calories and 8 grams of protein per ounce.
Chicken roasted no skin 47 calories and 8.8 grams of protein per ounce.
Turkey roasted no skin 40 calories and 8.6 grams of protein per ounce.
Beef lean broiled 53 calories and 8.6 grams of protein per once.
Lamb broiled 61 calories and 8.5 grams of protein per once.
Tuna canned in water 33 calories and 7.2 grams of protein per ounce.
Salmon pink canned 39 calories and 5.6 grams of protein per ounce.
Sardines in oil canned 59 calories and 7 grams of protein per ounce.
Tofu has 77 calories and 4.9 grams of protein per ounce.

All of these calories and protein grams are from:

calorieking.com.

Looking at the above list you will see the best source of protein to calorie load is tuna, with turkey as a close second. If you are watching your protein grams and want the least amount of calories, the tuna and turkey are best sources.

I know for my self, I always have much better results when I can stay away from the carbohydrates. I have a tendency of really eating low amounts of carbohydrates when loosing weight. Eating no more than 50 grams of carbohydrates in a day. The carbohydrates that I do it are vegetables and very little fruit. I Never eat any foods with sugar or flower of any kind.
Again for me this works very well when loosing the weight. But once I get down to my desired weight, I start working in some more carbohydrates. Then I get sloppy with my diet and end up eating the way I did when I was younger. Gaining the weight back.

Well now I am back at working to get the gained weight off. My plan this time is to get to the weight I should be at and though eating less with a lot less carbohydrates and more protein and exercise, and keeping it off by maintaining that life stile.

I have been at this now for just over 2 months and have only lost about eight to ten pounds. I am fighting in my head about no snacking on carbohydrate foods (junk).
It is just a mater of getting my head in to the right frame and doing it. This seems harder for me this time. But I will get there one way or the other.

So I will do my high protein weight loss diet. This gives me the best results of any way of eating I have found so far.
