It has been awhile since I last posted here. As they say old habits die hard. Since the last post I took my weight back up to 186 pounds by eating anything and everything I could.
It is a shock at how fast the weight adds back up. The more I read and see what goes on with my own body, I am really seeing that sugar and grain based foods are really the enemy.
Right now I am back down to 177 1/2 pounds this morning. I have stayed away from grains and sugar for the most part. But I have been eating way more fruits and vegetables than I was on the protein power plan.
This diet is a lot easier to do and my constipation is gone. That is a really relief if you know what I mean! This is definitely way easier to do than just a few carbohydrates a day was. It is probably a little healthier in the long run for me also.
The weight is not falling off as fast as the protein plan had it coming off. But I fell better. I think that it is due to the fact that I am eating more calories per day than I was with the protein power plan diet. Not that it is totally bad, but just maybe more restrictive than I would like to tolerate.
The diet solution has been the easiest to follow and maintain for me since I have started this quest.
