Tuesday 7-7-09

My weight this morning was 185 & 1/4 pounds

I ate only 1230 calories today.

This was done by eating the following:

Vegetable Juice

Oatmeal and Blue Berries

2 Stocks of Celery

1 Apple

Salad with Salmon

10 Almonds

1 Protein Drink

3.5 oz Pork Western Cut

1/3 Cup pretzels pieces

5 Dried Apricots

I worked out by lifting weights and did 30 minutes on the tread mill. I added another set to the exercises that I lifted today. I must admit that I like lifting each major body part only once a week so far.

Last time I was lifting I would hit each group twice a week. I would also lift 6 days a week. I like having 2 days off to rest up the body. Even on the 2 days off I try to at least walk on the tread mill, if not go for a peddle bike ride with my wife.

My weight tonight is less than this morning. I am sure that it is from loosing the water weight that I put on eating all of the bad things that I did this last week end. Even the good for you food was eaten at amounts not good for you.

Here again it is a struggle mentally to not over ate or eat the things that I know that I should not. It all comes down to how bad that I want to have a healthier body. All I know is I can look in the mirror to get a boost to stay on the course so to speak.

I am starting to see a little change starting to take place. Even with the set back this last weekend. So now I will keep at it till I make my goal.
