Day 31

My weight in the  morning was 178 & 3/4pounds. I ate a total of 1330 calories. I did that eating the list of food below:

Vegetable Juice

1 Apple

20 Almonds

Protein drink

Oatmeal and Blue Berries

3 Chicken Wings

Salad

Chicken Breast Nuggets

I worked out with weights and also walked fast on the treadmill for 30 minutes. I am ready for the week end!

Day 32

Today is Day 32 and I weighed 178 & 3/4 pounds again this morning. I consumed a total of 1305 calories today. I ate the following food today:

Vegetable Juice

2 Chicken Nuggets protein for breakfast

Dried Anchovy Snack

1/2 of a Rice Dumpling with Pork

1 Medium Carrot

Cherries

Stir-fried Vegetables and Salmon

I did not work out at all today. My wife and I did a lot of running around and I wanted a day of rest. I do not want to get into an over training situation. Though I doubt I will get into that with my training now. I am only doing 4 sets maximum on any of my exercises. And I only train one main muscle group at a time.

Being that I am no longer a young man, I like to give my body a little more time to repair the muscle before I hit it again lifting weights. I sure do not want any injuries either. My training intensity is only about 80% of what it could be now too. But I will  ramp it up in the following weeks with more forced reps.

I am only 1 month into my goal date and I am making steady progress in the right direction. My goal in to be well into the lower 150s or possibly the high 140s by Mid December of this year. This will depend on how well my weight lifting is progressing. I am not trying to look like a body builder, but I want that well toned look and fat loss is the only thing that will do that.

My lifting weights will give the muscle a better shape and look harder. For me lifting weights will also make my reflexes faster, and I like the extra strength.  Keep training on!
