Thursday 7-23-09

Weighed in at 179 & 1/4. I only ate 1250 calories also.

Not a bad day of weighing in and food intake. I did only walk on the treadmill for 30 minutes. I did not lift weights though. My time was short in the time I usually have to lift and walk, so I opted to walk thinking it would burn more calories than lifting.

the following is what I ate:

Vegetable Juice

2 Eggs and 2 strips of Bacon

1 Small can of Salmon

Celery

1 Apple

20 Almonds

30 Cherries

1 Tortilla

7 Oz ofPork

Friday 7-24-09

Weigh in this morning was 179 pounds even. But I ate 1625 in calories. I do not think that is too bad. I should have held my calorie in-take around 1250 or 1300 calories total. But I ate a few things I should have not ate.

The newness of my transformation to my new life of better choices for food and exercise has worn off. This does not mean that I am going to give in to the not so good food choices. I have to really watch and be stronger when it comes to food choices.

See todays choices below:

Vegetable Juice

1 Small can of Salmon

1 Protein Drink

20 Almonds

1 Apple

Granola Bar

6 Cookies

1 Apple Turnover

The last 3 items on the list I should have not ate Them. Especially all in one day. I really do not think a small treat every now and again is not a bad thing. But they should be just every now and again and not every day. Too many bad carbohydrates.

Do a search on the web for any person that has lost a good amount of weight, They defenitly stayed away from sugar, and most really eat very little white flower products. These sky rocket your blood sugar. This is not a good thing at all. If you do eat a high sugar item, eat only a small amout and spred it out so not too spike your blood.

Sugar will ruin your pancreas over time. It is believed to be one of the main causes of diabetes.
