Building a Healthy Body Day 39,40 & 41

This post is for 3 days. July 25, Saturday, 26 Sunday & 27 Monday.

I was busy the last 3 days is way I have 3 days put together. My weight for the 3 mornings is as follows, Saturday 178 & 3/4, Sunday 179 & 1/4 and Monday 179 & 1/4 again.

I eat the total calories for the following days also, Saturday was 1533 calories, Sunday I ate a total of 1540 calories and for Monday i ate a total of 1409 calories.

Work out for the weekend was just mowing the grass. But today on Monday I lifted weights and walked very fast on the treadmill for 30 minutes.

I had some work I had to get done around the house. With this training breaks can be a problem if you miss a lot of time.  Like taking a vacation or during holidays and even having an illness.

Generally if you only lose 2 weeks or less you will not lose any of your fitness. Any thing after 2 weeks you should train 2 to 3 days  at a low intensity to get back into your routine. This way you will not shock or injure your self.

If you are on vacation or just away from your normal training place, you can always do some exercise with out weights. Good old push ups, make them harder by putting your feet on a chair. Crunches are always a good mid section workout. Tricep dips done off of a chair.There are a lot of different exercises that you can do on your own with out machines or equipment.

Then if you really want to work your muscles , give isometric exercises a try. But when possible incorporate movement with the exercise. This will help in keeping your full rang of motion.

And if you are coming off of an illness or operation, make sure that you clear all of your training with your doctor first.

I did not list my food for these last 3 days. There really was not anything different from the past. The calories count means more than the food, as long as one does not eat a lot of crap. Doing that will not build muscle.

Do me a favor and list out what you are eating. This helps me know what you are not eating to loose your weight. Though I would say it looks like you are stuck at the 178 /179 pounds. Maybe too much carbs.
