I hate to say it, but I am still stuck at 180 or so pounds. I did dip down to 178 a day in the last five days since posting last. I have to say it is all because of the kinds of food and the amount of food that I have been eating.
I am still lifting weights as I was doing with very few days missed. I also have been walking very fast on the treadmill. This does go to show that yes exercise does help, but it all boils down to food intake.
I have read in a few studies that it is becoming clearer what kinds of food do matter. Protein type foods are processed differently than carbohydrates are. Especially empty calories carbohydrates, such as white flower based and high sugar content foods.
Bottom line here is that a calorie of protein does not equal a calorie of carbohydrate. It is starting to be known that you can eat more proteins and not gain weight as you can eat carbohydrates. This may be why a lot of body builders eat a high protein diet.
In my stuck state, I have been eating why more carbohydrates than when I am loosing weight. My junk food (sweet) tooth has to be tamed down some how. This is all in the mind. I have to get a hold of it and command it rather than it dictating to me what I should eat.
I know that I have touched on all of this before, but It shows that we have to be on 100 % on watch so not to back slide. Today is just about gone with too much eaten, but I have tomorrow to take the proper action.
By the way, my weight this morning was 180 & ½. A Japanese restaurant with very good food and Diary Queen was the killer. Well more Dairy Queen then the shrimp and chicken I ate.
