Not wanting to sound like a broken record, I am still 179 pounds to 180 pounds. I spent the last week fighting off a bad cold that would not let go. The only thing that it did not really do was keeping me from eating too much.

I did not workout one day this last week. I did finely got back to lifting and putting in 30 minutes on the treadmill today. I slept a lot yesterday; I think the cold has finely been broken.

My eating at work is really no problem. It seems to be when I am at home is where I eat the crap that is not good for me to lose weight on. My wife and I just have to make sure that we stop buying the stuff at the grocery store from now on. I cannot eat what I do not have here to grab.

To clean up my diet, I have to clean up my food at home. I also need to work on smaller portions too. I eat too much in one setting. This will keep my calorie intake down. My first month of starting this change, I did not do too badly as fare as calorie intake.

As time has gone on I have had a tendency to eat more food for a meal. All along I have kept a fairly good food and work out diary. This gives me a very good picture of where I have been really going wrong with my routine.

I am seeing too that I have been hitting the carbohydrates way more than I should be to be burning off fat. For me as I have mentioned before, high protein diet really works well for me. I just have to get my head around this and get it going.

Lets see what this next week will bring in weight loss and exercise. But I will say that the exercises that I have been doing, it its self have been making a difference. I feel better and stronger. Now I just need to bring in line the eating better and less to my life style change.

Cannot look at this as a diet just to lose weight. It has to be a way to live ones life to be healthier. If you are looking for some really good inspiration checkout fit over 40.
